Senior Automation Engineer, Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer in QA with extensive experience in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will excel in various automation tools and frameworks, able to enhance existing automation processes, and proficient in creating detailed test plans. This position will involve automating UI and API tests, as well as optimizing our test frameworks to streamline test cycles. As a Senior Automation Engineer in QA, your responsibilities will include manual testing for both UI and API, developing and executing test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define efficient test strategies, accurately documenting defects, and working closely with developers to prioritize and resolve issues promptly. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining automated test scripts utilizing tools like Robot Framework and Selenium, improving existing automation frameworks to boost efficiency, and deploying test automation on cloud platforms such as AWS. Additionally, you will integrate test automation with GitLab CI, leverage Postman for API testing, and ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing practices. To qualify for this role, you should possess a BS degree or equivalent (MS degree preferred), along with 7+ years of Software Testing experience encompassing UI and API testing. You must have a strong background in automation testing, with at least 5 years of experience using Robot Framework and Selenium, and proficiency in Python programming for test automation. Familiarity with Docker, AWS or other public cloud platforms, Linux or Unix systems, CI tools like GitLab or Jenkins, and Postman for API testing and automation is essential. Experience with network devices such as routers and knowledge of BGP routing concepts are advantageous. It would be beneficial if you are familiar with TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols.
