Hiring For IT-Engineer (IT Infrastructure, System & Cloud Engineer) Job Description:: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled L3 IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core networking concepts, hands-on experience with cloud environments (especially Azure), and solid knowledge in systems administration, security, and infrastructure monitoring. This role will focus on advanced support, configuration, security enforcement, and optimization of IT infrastructure and services Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced (L3) technical support across network, system, and cloud infrastructure. Design, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions using BGP, Static Routing, and SD-WAN technologies. Manage and configure switching technologies including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, and traffic segmentation. Configure and maintain Access Control Lists (ACLs), Route Maps, and Prefix Lists for traffic filtering and routing. Administer Windows-based environments; Linux exposure is a plus. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services). Deploy and manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, NSGs, Storage Accounts, VNet Peering, Synapse, Databricks, and more. Oversee Office 365 administration via the O365 Admin Center. Configure and manage DNS services including cloud-hosted DNS solutions. Perform regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus; familiarity with Nessus Agent is a plus. Configure and maintain Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewalls, preferably Sophos. Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), e.g., Barracuda, and Email Security Gateways. Support endpoint protection using EDR/XDR platforms (Sophos preferred). Monitor and analyze logs through SIEM tools like ManageEngine Log360; SOAR experience is advantageous. Utilize monitoring tools such as Site24x7 and PRTG to maintain service health and uptime. Adhere to ITIL-based processes and contribute to incident, problem, and change management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of OSI model, IPv4 addressing, subnetting. Proficient in core networking protocols: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, NAT, SMTP, SNMP, FTP, etc. Experience managing both on-premise and cloud infrastructure (especially Microsoft Azure). Solid grasp of Windows systems administration; Linux experience is beneficial. Expertise in identity and access management using AD and ADFS. Familiarity with modern cybersecurity tools and techniques for threat detection and mitigation. Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to infrastructure reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network traffic flows, packet structures, and common protocols, with hands-on experience protecting large-scale infrastructure from volumetric, protocol, and application-layer DDoS attacks. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing DDoS defense mechanisms to safeguard Ericssons critical network assets. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and understand packet structures and common network protocols to monitor and troubleshoot traffic flows. Configure, manage, and optimize A10 Thunder load balancers for efficient traffic distribution and protection. Design and implement DDoS mitigation strategies focusing on L3/L4 devices, leveraging BGP or anycast routing techniques. Detect, analyze, and mitigate volumetric (e.g., SYN flood, DNS amplification), protocol, and application-layer attacks (e.g., HTTP GET flood). Proven experience working with A10 Thunder load balancers or equivalent traffic management devices. Deep knowledge of DDoS attack types and mitigation techniques at Layer 3, Layer 4, and application layers. Familiarity with routing protocols like BGP and techniques such as anycast for distributed denial-of-service mitigation. Experience with behavioral analytics, threshold-based alerting, and machine learning-based detection systems. The Global WAN Fulfillment Team is a dynamic team of network professionals focused on implementation of next-generation WAN solutions, and maintenance of the client'sglobal network. WAN Fulfillment Planner will be responsible for planning implementations of large-scale WAN solutions within the client global network utilizing Cisco enterprise routing and switching products and technologies. Will also be involved in evaluating transport providers and their offerings, evaluating RFPs, and implementing circuits.
