As a Senior Counselor at GVOC ISM EduTech, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their journey of exploring global education opportunities. With a strong foundation dating back to 1999, Global Vision Overseas has been a reliable source of support and services for numerous students seeking international education. Your main responsibility will be to assist students in selecting suitable programs and universities, preparing them for their study abroad experience, and ensuring their success in the new academic environment. Your day-to-day tasks will involve advising students on academic programs, aiding with application processes, and providing continuous support throughout their educational endeavors. To excel in this role, you should possess strong study abroad counseling and interpersonal skills, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in study abroad counseling. Knowledge of multiple countries will be advantageous, along with prior experience in academic advising and study abroad guidance. Having a thorough understanding of international education systems and programs will be essential, alongside excellent communication and presentation abilities. Your proficiency in relevant software and tools will enable you to effectively carry out your responsibilities. A Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field, coupled with certifications in counseling or education counseling, will further strengthen your candidacy for this position.
