Job Description

The Role:

This is a role for a true "do-it-all" artist. As our Senior 3D Generalist, you will wear many hats, guiding assets through every stage of the 3D pipeline. You will be responsible for modeling our characters, building their rigs, animating their performances, lighting the scenes, and compositing the final shots. You will be a key creative partner to the Director, with a significant hand in shaping the final look and feel of the advertisement.

Key Responsibilities:

This role encompasses the full spectrum of 3D production. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Modeling & Texturing:

Model, sculpt, and texture our three stylized human-bird characters and the lush jungle environment based on approved concept art.

Create clean, animation-ready topology and detailed UVs for all assets.

Develop high-quality PBR materials and textures that align with our cinematic, Frozen-inspired aesthetic.

2. Rigging:

Build robust, intuitive, and animator-friendly rigs for our three main characters.

Develop functional facial rigs capable of expressive acting and lip-sync.

Create custom controls for unique costume elements, like the Peacock's spreading tail and the Macaw's wing-sleeves.

3. Animation:

Bring the characters to life with high-quality animation, focusing on performance, acting, and personality.

Animate body mechanics, expressive gestures, and precise lip-sync based on the animatic and audio tracks.

Execute key performances, from the Peacock's broad comedic dance to the Tailorbird's swift, precise actions.

4. Lighting & Rendering:

Act as the "digital cinematographer," lighting scenes to create mood, atmosphere, and visual appeal.

Establish a cinematic lighting style that features dappled jungle light, dramatic highlights, and rich colors.

Set up and manage render passes (AOVs) for compositing, optimizing scenes for quality and efficiency.

5. Compositing & Finishing:

Assemble and integrate multi-pass renders to construct the final, polished image.

Perform color correction, add atmospheric effects (glow, depth of field, god rays), and ensure shot-to-shot continuity.

Apply the final layer of polish that elevates the visuals to a broadcast-ready, cinematic standard.
