We are seeking an experienced and operationally focused Assistant Business Manager to lead our security services division. This strategic role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, strengthening client relationships, and driving a profitable growth strategy for our National Capital Region (NCR) operations. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in both operational management and commercial oversight within the private security sector. Core Objectives: The primary objective for this position is to fortify our operational foundation to enhance client retention and service excellence. Building upon this stability, the Assistant Business Manager will then be responsible for optimizing the profitability of existing contracts and supporting the strategic expansion of our client base. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Excellence and Client Relationship Management: Assume direct oversight of all security service operations to guarantee quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. Serve as the principal liaison for key accounts, proactively managing relationships and ensuring effective resolution of all service-related matters. Lead and develop the guard force, implementing robust systems for training, deployment, supervision, and performance management to improve efficacy and reduce personnel turnover. 2. Commercial and Financial Oversight: Manage the profit and loss (P&L) for the security services portfolio, ensuring all operational activities align with financial objectives. Guarantee the integrity of all data related to personnel attendance for accurate billing and oversee the timely execution of the invoicing cycle. Collaborate with the finance department to support the accounts receivable and collections process, contributing to improved organizational cash flow. 3. Strategic Growth and Business Development: Following the successful stabilization of operations, identify and pursue opportunities for service expansion and upselling within the existing client portfolio. Provide subject matter expertise and operational insights to support the leadership team in the acquisition of new business and the development of commercially sound service level agreements. Candidate Profile: A seasoned professional with 6-11 years of relevant experience, including substantial tenure within a private security services firm. Demonstrated success in managing a diverse portfolio of B2B clients and a history of building long-term, positive relationships. Verifiable experience with the commercial aspects of service delivery, including direct involvement in contract management, billing, and financial oversight. An operationally-oriented leader with a hands-on management style and a strong aptitude for problem-solving in a dynamic environment. This position is ideal for a versatile leader with a strong foundation in operational management who is capable of both refining current processes and driving future growth. The role is not suited for individuals focused purely on sales or high-level strategy, but rather for a manager who can effectively oversee and enhance all facets of the business unit.
