SDM Core Engineering

The ideal candidate for the SDM Core Engineering position must have at least 10 years of experience in Telecom Core Networks. A strong understanding of Subscriber Data Management (SDM) Core is essential, along with 3 to 4 years of experience as a Solution Integrator. Key requirements for this role include performing system integration activities in the 5G Core network, focusing on network functions such as NRF, UDM, AUSF, UDR, EIR, and NSSF. Experience with SDM products like HSS-FE, CUDB, UPG, HLR FE, and preferably with CCRC, CCSM, and CCDM is highly desirable. The candidate should have a solid grasp of database cluster technologies, authentication in 5GS, network slicing, and service-based interfaces in the Core network. Proficiency in automation tools such as Python, Red Hat Ansible, and bash scripting is also required. Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Ericsson 5G Core Associate, and Ericsson Certified Professional Unified Data Management are a plus. Basic experience with Linux and related Virtualization technologies (VMWare, OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM) is beneficial. Effective communication skills are crucial, as the candidate will be translating technical procedures to customers, documenting method of procedures (MOPS) and low-level designs (LLD), and preparing and executing Test Instructions aligned with the Test Object List (TOL). The candidate should be able to lead Acceptance Testing and work closely with customer stakeholders. A positive, communicative, and customer-oriented attitude is essential for this role, as well as the ability to work well in diverse teams and handle tense situations with a sense of urgency.,
