Job Description

As a potential candidate for this position, you should possess strong skills in Scala with a focus on functional programming. Your knowledge should also extend to data structures, multithreading, memory management, monad, functors, applicative, and the Cats library. It is essential to have experience with Scala Build Tool and Linux, as well as proficiency in Core Java and scripting with a solid programming background. Additionally, a strong understanding of SQL and databases is necessary. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate good analytical, debugging, and design skills. You should be comfortable interfacing with senior management and stakeholders in EMEA and other regions. Experience working in an AGILE development methodology is required, and being a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities is crucial. Desirable skills for this position include exposure to Jenkins, work experience in global markets equities domain (preferably low latency), and knowledge of cloud and containerization, including Kubernetes/Openshift. If Scala profiles are challenging to find, candidates with Java expertise who are willing to learn Scala will also be considered. Functional programming experience would be beneficial. This is an immediate requirement for candidates with 5+ years of experience who are open to working on test automation and BAU NPT remediation.
