SAP DBM - Lead Consultant

The DBM Services position requires 8-16 years of relevant experience and is based in Chennai/Pune. As a DBM Services professional, you should have a minimum of 5 years of SAP experience focusing on the design, configuration, testing, debugging, delivery, and support of SAP Automotive processes. Your responsibilities will include having a thorough understanding and working knowledge of the integration between SD, MM, VMS, WTY, and DBM. You must possess strong negotiation and conversational skills to effectively communicate with customers at all levels. Additionally, you should have sound knowledge of DBM events, actions, and status management, along with the ability to independently configure DBM related customizations. Familiarity with document types, Item Types, Item Categories, Split Management, Order Splits, and understanding of automotive dealership repair order processes is essential. The ideal candidate will be an IS-Automotive SAP DBM consultant with expertise in DBM 8.0 Service. You will be responsible for assessing business requirements and translating them into coherent solutions aligned with functional needs and data architecture. Writing clear and detailed Functional Specification Documents, communicating effectively in a team environment, and providing expert skills in evaluating, developing, testing, and delivering automotive application and business process developments are key aspects of this role. You will also be required to provide knowledge transfer to team members, handle L1-level tickets, offer support for deployment, training, and go-live processes as needed, and conduct dealer training on new developments. Ensuring change requests are delivered with good quality within agreed deadlines, closing all tickets within SLA, reducing support tickets by providing permanent solutions, and following standard operating procedures are crucial for success in this role.
