As an SAP APO PP/DS Consultant, you will be at the forefront of enabling efficient and intelligent production planning and scheduling for our clients. Your role involves working closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical experts to deliver robust planning solutions that align with organizational goals. You will be responsible for leveraging your deep knowledge of SAP APO PP/DS to design, configure, and optimize planning processes that enhance operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve resource utilization. You will serve as a subject matter expert in production planning and detailed scheduling, guiding the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions. From gathering requirements and configuring the system to supporting go-live and post-implementation activities, you will ensure that the planning systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues, communicate effectively, and stay updated with the latest SAP advancements will be key to your success in this role. Your Responsibilites

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP APO PP/DS solutions.

Configure and customize the PP/DS module to support production planning, finite scheduling, and capacity planning.

Design and implement heuristics, optimization strategies, and planning procedures.

Integrate PP/DS with SAP ECC or S/4HANA (especially PP, MM, and SD modules).

Collaborate with stakeholders to define planning strategies, master data setup (PDS, PPM, resources), and planning horizons.

Support data migration, testing, training, and go-live activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to planning runs, CIF integration, and performance tuning.

Provide ongoing support and enhancements post-implementation.

Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations and best practices in supply chain planning.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP APO PP/DS configuration and implementation.

Good understanding of supply chain processes, especially production planning and scheduling.

Experience with CIF (Core Interface) and integration with ECC/S4HANA.

Knowledge of SAP LiveCache, planning books, and macros is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
