Description
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Salesforce solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of Energy and Utilities Companies. Your role involves sharing knowledge and mentoring team members and other developers across teams. Your in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Industry solutions, ideally Energy & Utilities Cloud, and extensive experience in Salesforce development enable you to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to the development team. You will design and implement the Energy and Utilities Cloud to optimize business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive digital transformation within the energy and utilities industry. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and architects is essential to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals. Staying updated with the latest Salesforce platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends is crucial to drive innovation and enhance system capabilities. Leading the development team in designing, building, and maintaining tailored Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio, EPC, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant technologies is a key responsibility. Integration efforts with external systems and ensuring seamless data flow, API integrations, and interoperability across various systems and applications fall within your scope. Performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging of Salesforce solutions are necessary to ensure scalability, stability, and efficient operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including administrators, architects, and business analysts, is important to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and achieve seamless system integrations. Evaluating and recommending new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance the development process, system performance, and overall team productivity are part of your responsibilities. Providing internal/external customer training and support, testing, creating automated tests for software, documenting code and product features, and participating in planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming are tasks you will engage in. Additionally, investing in personal training and development to maintain and advance your performance over time is encouraged. Your experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on the Energy and Utilities Cloud or equivalent industry, along with expertise in OmniStudio, EPC, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, Salesforce APIs, and other relevant technologies, is essential. Understanding energy and utilities industry processes, leading and mentoring development teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and Salesforce certifications are highly desirable. Personal attributes such as a can-do attitude, passion for excellence, high energy levels, sound judgment, determination, attention to detail, relationship management, interpersonal skills, open-minded consultative approach, ability to give and receive feedback, and creative problem-solving abilities are valued in this role.
