Job Description

The Role: We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineers to expand our market presence and drive sales of our industrial monitoring solutions across India. The primary focus will be on building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and positioning our technology as a solution for their process control and condition monitoring challenges. One specific position is for a Resident Sales Engineer in the NCR region, focusing on defence sector sales. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for process control instruments and industrial monitoring solutions. Identify and qualify new business opportunities within target industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Steel, Mining, Cement, and other heavy industries. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solutions. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions, including level, flow, and temperature transmitters, as well as our DAS fibre optic sensing systems. Prepare and submit detailed proposals, quotations, and tender responses. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities. Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to ensure seamless project execution and post-sales support. Gather market intelligence on competitors and industry trends. For the Resident Sales Engineer (NCR) position, specifically focus on developing and nurturing relationships within the engineering consultants & defence sector, understanding their unique requirements, and positioning our solutions accordingly. Travel extensively across India as required to meet clients and support sales activities. Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B. Tech) or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related discipline). Proven hands-on experience of 3-5 years in sales within the Oil & Gas, Power, Steel, Mining, Cement, or other heavy industrial environments in India. Demonstrable experience selling process control instruments such as level, flow, and temperature transmitters. Strong technical understanding of industrial processes and instrumentation. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets. Willingness and ability to travel extensively across India. For the Resident Sales Engineer (NCR) position: 5-7 years of field sales experience with a strong background in defence sales. Desirable Qualifications: Prior experience with condition monitoring or industrial automation solutions. Familiarity with CRM software. Strong negotiation skills.
