Job Description

Job Responsibilities Desk Job + Customer Visits (if required) : Primarily a desk-based role with occasional customer visits as needed. Customer Relationship Management : Manage existing customer RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and develop new customer relationships. Technical Communication : Effectively communicate client needs to the internal team and manage all technical aspects of RFQ/RFI (Request for Information) responses. Vendor Registration : Handle the companys vendor registration at customer/prospect locations. Quotation Preparation : Prepare costings and quotations and follow up on sales inquiries/proposals from customers. Sales Reporting : Prepare sales visit reports and maintain funnel status and sales forecasts on a weekly basis or as required by the immediate supervisor. CRM Management : Ensure all sales activities are recorded and updated in our CRM/Salesforce/Excel. Customer Meetings : Facilitate meetings with customers as and when required. Marketing Support : Support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events. Product Knowledge : Maintain a sound technical/application knowledge base on all products. Project Presentations : Deliver presentations of projects for the purpose of product sales. Prospect Identification : Identify potential clients and government tenders through research and networking. Prospect Outreach : Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, and social media. Daily Communication : Communicate daily with management about sales and customer issues. Requirements and Skills Technical Background : B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in mechanical products such as skids, pressure vessels, heat exchangers is a must. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer Relationship Skills : Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Attention to Detail : Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Technical Proficiency : Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, for the preparation of PPTs and costing. Travel Flexibility : Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required. Sales Experience : Previous sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
