We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos, ensuring customers are informed about features and benefits.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and ensure accurate transactions.
• Handle cash register operations efficiently, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves, restocking items as needed, and ensuring the sales floor is visually appealing.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
• Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• A proactive approach to selling and upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the store schedule.
