Sales Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop counter-strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams for promotional activities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to top management.
  • Ensure effective coverage and reach in urban and rural markets.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong market knowledge, particularly in the FMCG domain
  • Leadership and team management abilities
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach
  • Sound understanding of distribution channels and trade marketing
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and deliver consistently

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Indian markets, especially Kerala, is highly desirable
  • Willing to travel extensively within the region
