Sales Academic Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Provide expert guidance and counselling to students regarding educational programs and courses.
• Utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to convert leads into enrollments.
• Conduct cold calling to generate new leads and expand the student base.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions with students and follow up on inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide the best advice to students.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in the edtech sector.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Sales Academic Counsellor position will possess the following qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and colleagues.
• Proven negotiation skills to facilitate successful enrollment conversations.
• Experience in cold calling and lead generation is preferred but not mandatory.
• A background in counselling or education is a plus.
• Familiarity with the edtech industry and its offerings will be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
