Safety Officer Job Description

Location:

Certification:

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on-site.
Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and training.
Promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees.
Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct regular drills.
Liaise with local authorities and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

Requirements:

NEBOSH IGC Certification (UAE attestation) – Mandatory.
Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in a similar role (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct safety audits and generate reports.
Immediate availability to join is an advantage.

Compensation:

Salary: 3000 AED/month
