Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Conduct regular hazard analysis and risk identification to mitigate potential risks. Provide training on fire safety, industrial safety, construction safety, and HSE documentation to employees. Implement a work permit system for high-risk activities and investigate accidents promptly. Plan emergency response procedures and participate in drills to ensure readiness. Ensures that all fire protection systems like smoke detectors, fire alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, etc. are installed properly and functional at all times Routine fire safety checks/inspections to cover the assessment of fire hazards and safety of properties Make sure that there are well-developed evacuation plans Create awareness among employees to ensure hazards related to job and safe method of working. Co-ordinate Plant Safety Committee meeting and Mock Drill Investigation and record maintaining of incident reports Updating SOP, Checklists and Onsite emergency plan. Selection and maintaining of personnel protective equipment (PPE). Knowledge of HAZOP study & how to it conducted Desired Candidate Profile Strong knowledge of fire safety, industrial safety, construction safety, and HSE documentation. Proficiency in accident investigation, risk identification, and emergency planning. Minimum 10 years experienced with post Graduate in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute Must possess good interpersonal skills, alert, observant and pays keen attention to details at all times Aptitude to follow and communicate safe working rules and procedures
