Job description: Job Description Responsibilities • Administration and Management of Wipro LAN & WAN (Network Domain) across globe as a part of Global Network Project Implementation Team based on the Projects assigned. • Implementation and configuration of Network devices which consists of Routers, Switches, NMS Tools & Wifi Devices from different manufacturers (Mainly Cisco & some cases Avaya / Brocade, etc.). • Configure / Implement Network Devices as per the hardening Guidelines & as per particular Project requirement. • Troubleshoot Network & Security related problems in a particular Project based on the Project scope defined. • Implementation of Network Infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODC) with appropriate security levels and redundancy as per the ODC requirements. • Implementation of Network Infrastructure for new Enterprise Projects with appropriate security levels and redundancy. • Implement ODC setups with connectivity varying from MPLS Connectivity, Client to site VPN, Site to Site VPN (Router based). • Handle implementations in project movements within Wipro locations, Point to point link establishment, Network infra for new Wipro locations including LAN/WAN/Internet Architecture etc. • Coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN and other links for new implementations and troubleshooting connectivity issues. • Validating the technical feasibility of the network design plans for customer/Enterprise networks submitted by the design team and provide appropriate suggestions as required. • Knowledge & exposure on (not limited to) NMS Tools, Routing Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, etc., MPLS Configuration (VRF Config), Switching Protocols, STP, QoS, etc. • Execute the implementation per the standard ISO (20000 & 27001) and Wipro IRMC guidelines following incident, change and capacity management procedures followed in Wipro. • CCNP Equivalent Certifications with around 5 years’ experience. • Should be able to Multitask & involve in multiple projects at a time. • Take lead and participate in S0 calls and Outages till resolution ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ Mandatory Skills: Cisco Voice IP Telephony Admin . Go to person for 4G/5G specification understanding, end to end call flows, NAS procedures, handover procedures, interworking call flows and service flows Go to person for 4G/5G core network, IMS core and VoLTE & other service understanding Go to person for supporting network planning, network deployment, IP planning and network optimization Shall have understanding of L2/L3 transport network used in the network deployment Shall have complete understanding of 4G (eNB)/5G(gNB), specifications, protocol layers and call flows Go to person for debugging and providing solutions for network, deployment, service level and product level issues Shall have complete understanding of RAN product portfolio and management system Interfacing with customer, field and other external stake holders in the network deployment Understanding and deriving customer & field requirements and coordinating with internal teams Prioritization of requirements and bug fixes for software delivery Supporting system configuration planning & optimization and LMS preparation Field support Analysis of DT logs, traces for debugging of the field issues Supporting AT, System validation, POCs and Demos Supporting IOTs with other vendor RAN nodes and core networks Raising bugs and getting the issues fixed in co-ordination with development team Mandatory skills: Good understanding 4G/5G 3GPP specifications and fair understanding of 2G/3G specifications Good understanding of 4G/5G core network and IMS core Good understanding of end-to-end call flows, NAS procedures, handover procedures, interworking procedures and service flows Good understanding of VoLTE service and CS services Good understanding of end-to-end 4G/5G network deployments with more focus on RAN deployment, network planning and network optimization Good understanding system parameter planning & optimization including handover parameter planning & LMS planning Good working exposure to 4G/5G RAN products including RRHs. Exposure to handling product related issues Exposure to interworking with OEM core products Strong working experience in 4G eNB/5G (gNB) including protocols, call flows, end to end traffic throughput requirements Strong debugging skills to analyze network level issues, network deployment issues, service issues and RAN issues at each layer (L3/L2/L1) Strong debugging & troubleshooting and log analysis skills Good working exposure to FCAPS and KPI analysis Good understanding network protocols, IP planning and IETF standards Good exposure to DT tools like XCAL/Spirent/TEMS/QXDM and DT log analysis Desired skills: Telecom knowledge on NMS/EMS/OSS is desired Working experience in Linux environment is expected Good exposure to scripting languages including python desired Preferred Qualifications Experience 8-12 years of experience in Telecom/Networking Industry.
