ROR Developer

We are seeking a Ruby on Rails developer who will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your main focus will involve the development of server-side logic, maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Additionally, you will integrate front-end elements created by your team members into the application, requiring a basic understanding of front-end technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. You will be involved in integrating data storage solutions and user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. Identifying and addressing bottlenecks and bugs, as well as contributing to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation are vital aspects of the role. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, as well as familiarity with common libraries like RSpec and Resque. A solid understanding of Ruby syntax, object-oriented programming, server-side templating languages, and CSS preprocessors is necessary. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is also required. Familiarity with concepts like MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful, along with the ability to write clean and readable Ruby code, are important. Moreover, the candidate should be capable of integrating multiple data sources and databases into a unified system, understanding fundamental design principles for scalable applications, creating database schemas that support business processes, and implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
