Experience in telecommunications will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications following industry best practices. Develop microservices using Spring Boot and ensure their integration within the system architecture. Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code adhering to project requirements. Application Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices architecture. Utilize Hibernate for ORM and database management, optimizing data flow and performance. Containerization & Cloud-Native Development: Build, deploy, and manage applications using Docker and RedHat OCP. Ensure cloud-native compatibility and scalability in application design. Performance Optimization: Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale applications. Optimize application deployment and runtime environments. Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements. Mentor junior developers and guide them in modern development practices. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback. Telco-Specific Knowledge (Preferred): Leverage telecommunications domain expertise to design systems aligned with telco requirements, such as high availability, low latency, and distributed architectures. Essential Skills & Qualifications Programming Languages: Expert in Java (Java 11 or later preferred). Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate. Microservices: Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying microservices. Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Red Hat OpenShift (OCP). Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration. Databases: Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). Strong knowledge of database optimization and ORM best practices. CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools for continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Telecommunications Knowledge: Familiarity with BSS/OSS systems, signaling protocols, and telco-specific use cases. Development Practices: Strong understanding of TDD/BDD and unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and gRPC for inter-service communication.
