Quantity Surveyor

DeDecorfit Interiors LLC is an interior contracting company specializing in turnkey interior fit-out and construction solutions. With a strong focus on quality, design detailing, and client satisfaction, we are looking for a competent and analytical Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing, ensure budgetary control, and support project planning.

Job Purpose:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for estimating costs, preparing BOQs, managing project budgets, evaluating subcontractor work, and ensuring the financial health of interior fit-out and construction projects. This role requires strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of both pre-contract and post-contract functions in the interior and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, site surveys, and specifications.

Conduct material take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and construction projects.

Track project budgets and ensure that costs remain within approved limits.

Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate rates, and prepare work orders.

Support procurement by providing material quantity details and budget alignments.

Prepare interim payment applications, client billing, and track receivables.

Monitor and record variations, change orders, and price adjustments.

Assist in cost control, value engineering, and project profitability analysis.

Coordinate with the site team for progress verification and work measurements.

Prepare final accounts and project close-out documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction materials and methods.

Proficiency in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and tender preparation.

Good understanding of contracts, pricing, and procurement procedures.

Skilled in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software's.

Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying (Required)

Experience: 2 to 6 years in quantity surveying for interior fit-out and construction projects (Required)

Language: Fluency in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
