QA Project Manager

As a QA Project Manager at Girikon, located in Noida (Hybrid), you will play a crucial role in planning and executing end-to-end QA activities for CRM and SaaS based applications. Your responsibilities will include defining, implementing, and monitoring tailored QA strategies and best practices, overseeing test planning, test case design, and execution for Salesforce platforms and other CRM & SaaS based applications. You will lead a team of QA professionals, managing task allocation, progress tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery. Collaboration with development, business analysis, and project management teams across the SDLC will be key, along with serving as the primary point of contact for QA communication with clients. Your role will involve overseeing a wide range of testing types including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Security Testing, Cross-browser, Mobile, and Responsive Testing. Additionally, you will design and perform specific testing when required, ensuring content accuracy, layout verification, SEO metadata validation, accessibility, and WCAG compliance. Promoting the use of relevant QA tools, automation frameworks, and test management platforms will be essential, as well as conducting quality reviews, identifying risks, and enforcing performance, functional, and security standards. To be successful in this role, you should have 7 years of QA experience with at least 2 years in QA leadership/project management roles. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with proven ability to define and lead QA strategies for complex Salesforce projects. Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid QA methodologies, hands-on expertise in Salesforce testing, and proficiency in defect lifecycle management and reporting are required. Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks, as well as tools like Jira, Zephyr, and Selenium, is beneficial. Salesforce certifications and awareness of different types of testing are considered a plus. Furthermore, you should possess competencies such as the ability to work in a start-up-like culture, adapt to shifting priorities, and complete projects successfully while maintaining sensitivity to political issues. Being persuasive, encouraging, motivating, and having excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills are important traits, along with flexibility during times of change and the ability to understand different communication styles of team members and contractors from various disciplines.
