Job Description

Professional Experience Qualifications

6+ years strong programming skills in
Python
.
Hands-on experience with
Playwright
or similar browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks using
Python and Playwright
.
Proficiency in
SQL
for data validation and manipulation.
Perform
SQL queries
to validate data integrity and support backend testing.
Solid understanding of
Unix/Linux
commands and shell scripting.
Create and manage
Unix shell scripts
for automation tasks and environment setup.
Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab).
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Develop and maintain test scripts for web applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed bug reports.
Continuously improve automation processes and contribute to best practices.
Experience with version control systems like
Git
.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Excellent Analytical skills
Financial services/capital markets/investment banking experience
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Open to work in UK Shift (10 Am to 9 Pm IST with 8 hours of productive work)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience withAPI testingusing tools like Postman or REST-assured.
Knowledge ofDockerand containerized environments.
