Public Relation Officer

Overview
We are looking for a motivated and confident Public Relations Officer (PRO) with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in the agro or rice industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the company's image, handling public communication, and building strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and media

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the company’s reputation in the rice/agro sector
• Prepare and distribute press releases, promotional material, and official statements
• Build and maintain relationships with local media, trade associations, and community leaders
• Coordinate participation in agro trade fairs, exhibitions, and local events
• Respond promptly to media inquiries and public questions about the company
• Monitor industry news and ensure appropriate communication response
• Manage online presence and social media platforms related to company updates
• Assist in handling crisis communication, if required

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in public relations or a communication-based role
• Experience or knowledge of the agro/rice industry is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Hindi)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with rural market dynamics and local language (if applicable)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and professionally
