Job Description

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.Tech / B.E) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Master's in Business Administration (General Management) preferred

Work Experience:

4 to 6 years of experience in digital project governance, project management, or digital transformation roles

Key Responsibilities

Digital Project Governance

  • Lead and manage the execution of digital projects from initiation to closure, including scope definition, timeline planning, team coordination, and risk management
  • Develop and implement standardized PMO processes and governance policies to ensure adherence to project management methodologies
  • Liaise with cross-functional project teams, department heads, and senior leadership to align project objectives with organizational goals and track delivery
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for transparency and audit readiness
  • Facilitate conflict resolution during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption and strong stakeholder relationships
  • Identify potential project risks and issues and implement effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive accountability

Project Management

  • Collaborate with selected vendors and internal departments for project planning, budget finalization, timeline setting, and development of operating plans
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion within approved budgets, and recommend corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Conduct regular project review meetings with business stakeholders and vendors to assess the progress of initiatives and pilot projects (POCs)
  • Develop detailed operating plans with continuous progress monitoring strategies to ensure delivery against milestones

Process Improvement & Change Management

  • Foster continuous improvement within project teams by identifying performance gaps and promoting industry best practices
  • Evaluate and approve process changes aimed at enhancing project efficiency, productivity, and team performance
  • Engage with software and hardware vendors for contract negotiations and establish collaborative frameworks
  • Oversee training and upskilling of project managers, analysts, and professionals to ensure the adoption of modern project management methodologies
