Product Lead

Position Summary

Product Lead will be responsible for defining, developing, and managing the product strategy for our key financial products, including machine loans, working capital, Industrial LAP and solar rooftop funding. Will lead a cross-functional team, work closely with business analytics and customer retention units, and ensure the successful execution of new and existing product initiatives. This role requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of financial products, and the ability to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Development:

  Define the product roadmap and strategy for machine loans, working capital, business loans, and solar rooftop funding. Continuously evaluate market trends and customer needs to shape and refine product offerings.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  : Work closely with marketing, operations, risk, compliance, and business development teams to ensure seamless product launch and execution.

• Business Analytics:

  Leverage business analytics to monitor product performance, identify key trends, and create actionable insights to optimize the products. Ensure the use of data-driven approaches to shape product decisions and strategies.

• External Intelligence & Competition Tracking:

  Continuously track market for any trends, market happenings, competition & its products, business strategies, customer specific developments and overall macro picture. It is expected to present this to the senior management on frequent basis for any decision making.

• Risk Management & Compliance:

  Collaborate with the risk and compliance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory standards and effectively manage risk.

• Product Lifecycle Management:

  Oversee the complete product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including product enhancements and iterations based on customer feedback and market conditions.

• Operational Metrics:

  Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance to achieve business objectives. Ensure products are aligned with profitability targets and operational efficiency.

• Leadership & Team Management:

  Lead and mentor a high-performing product team. Foster a collaborative environment and drive innovation within the team.

Education :

Experience:

Technical / Managerial Competencies Required:

1. Sound knowledge of MS office, esp. Microsoft excel

2. Any other skills in software related to dashboards and data management would be good
