Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To understand the product specification & drawings of components, sub-assemblies and assemblies of pumps.
To decide and develop various procedures for special operations and for various mock ups of critical operations and prepare sub sequent reports.
To decide & develop manufacturing drawings, manufacturing processes of components, sub-assemblies and assemblies of pumps.
To prepare drawings of operations to be done at vendor end.
To decide and develop toolings required for manufacturing of components, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
To define stock sizes of various components and prepare cutting plan and allocation sheets.
Resource planning for manufacturing of various components such as Machines, Methodology, Measure, Maintenance.
To complete all documents related to final documentation to be submitted.
To define and develop document storage and retrieval system.
To define and develop system to ensure availability of latest documents for all users.
To implement the good practices to develop the culture and environment to manufacture nuclear and high technology product.
To co-ordinate with cross functional departments like design, purchase, NDT & fabrication for the process development.

Preferred candidate profile

At least 4 to 5 yrs of rich experience in Process Engineering.
Knowledge of Auto Cad is must.
Knowledge of jigs, fixtures and cutting tool is mandatory.
Knowledge of SAP is additional advantage.
Knowledge 3D modelling is additional advantage.
Knowledge dimensional and geometrical accuracies.
Knowledge of CNC machines, conventional machines, cutting tools and cutting parameters is required.
