Job Title: Market Head / Principal / Associate Principal Location: Chennai (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Head / Principal / Associate Principal Lead to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will bring their own AUM, have a strong understanding of wealth management solutions, and be passionate about delivering high-quality financial advice and relationship management to HNI/UHNI clients. The core responsibility is to build and grow AUM, while offering a comprehensive suite of investment products and strategies tailored to client needs. Key Responsibilities: • Transfer and manage existing AUM with a focus on retention and growth. • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent and personalized engagement. • Provide holistic investment advisory and financial planning services using our wide range of products (mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, bonds, insurance, structured products, etc.). • Understand client goals, risk tolerance, and financial situations to deliver suitable investment solutions. • Drive the acquisition of new HNI/UHNI clients and referrals to expand the client base. • Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and financial regulations to guide clients effectively. • Collaborate with internal teams including product specialists, research, and compliance to deliver seamless client experiences. • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance protocols. • Maintain updated and accurate records of client interactions, portfolios, and recommendations. Key Requirements: • Proven experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory, ideally with an existing AUM book. • Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills. • Excellent understanding of financial products across asset classes. • Sound knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks (SEBI, RBI, etc.). • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Self-motivated with a performance-driven mindset and ability to lead a team (if in Market Head role).
