We are currently seeking applications for the position of Principal Consultant - Snowflake Data Modeller. As a Data Engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate strong expertise in data analysis, data integration, data transformation, and ETL/ELT skills necessary to excel in this role. Additionally, relevant domain experience in Investment Banking and exposure to Cloud, preferably AWS, are desired qualifications. Responsibilities: - Possess hands-on experience in relational, dimensional, and/or analytic work using RDBMS, dimensional data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion. - Demonstrate experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts. - Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills. - Assist the team in implementing business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms and tools. - Collaborate with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models. - Define and enforce data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models. - Engage in hands-on modeling and mappings between source system data model and Datawarehouse data models. - Proactively address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks regarding modeling and mappings. - Showcase hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries. - Good to have experience in data modeling for NOSQL objects. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. - Relevant experience in the field. - 8+ years of experience in metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin, ER Studio, or others). Overall 10+ years of experience in IT.
