Job Title: Internal ID & OD Grinding Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate internal (ID) and external (OD) grinding machines to achieve precision finishes and tolerances.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine specifications.
• Set up grinding machines, including loading and securing the workpiece.
• Adjust machine settings, such as speed, feed, and grinding wheel dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance of machines, including replacing worn grinding wheels.
• Conduct inspections and measurements to ensure the finished product meets quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues during grinding operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a grinding operator, particularly in ID & OD grinding.
• Strong knowledge of grinding machine operations and setups.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Good understanding of machining tolerances and finishes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machine maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in machining or a related field.
• Prior experience working in the manufacturing of precision tools or collets.
• Knowledge of grinding wheel selection and dressing techniques.
