PHP Laravel Developer

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing mid to large scale PHP Laravel web applications. Your duties will include developing new features, optimizing and maintaining existing application code, and working with third party web services and APIs to develop necessary web services. You will also be expected to identify, investigate, and resolve PHP platform bugs and issues, update and alter application features to enhance performance, respond to integration requests from front-end developers, and finalize back-end features while testing web applications. To excel in this role, you must have proven software development experience in PHP and be proficient in PHP Laravel. You should have a strong grasp of PHP5+, SOLID principles (Object Oriented Design), Object relational mapping, MVC, and Lamp Stacks. In addition, you should possess strong skills in Ajax, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML coding, as well as a solid understanding of MySQL including table design and complex query creation. Knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and experience in developing web services are also essential. Familiarity with common third-party APIs such as Google, Facebook, and eBay is beneficial. Ideally, you should hold a BE/Btech/MCA/MSC IT degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. Exposure in the online shopping domain would be advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including internet reimbursement and paid sick time. The work location is in person during day shifts.
