Pharmacy Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide prompt and friendly service
• Assist in dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Measure, package, and label medications accurately
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock shelves
• Process sales and handle cash or card transactions at the counter
• Assist with insurance claims and billing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Support the pharmacist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy-related certification is an advantage
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail setting preferred ( Minimum 1 year )
• Basic understanding of pharmacy practices and terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Proficient in using computers and pharmacy software systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
