About the role We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in transformer tank and structural component design. This role involves working on key mechanical systems of power transformers, including tanks, covers, and external accessories, for global applications. Key Responsibilities: Design transformer tanks, stiffeners, covers, and external parts such as coolers, conservators, pipework, turrets, and conduit systems. Develop and manage 3D models using CAD software (e.g., CREO, Inventor, UG) and PDM tools (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill). Create and review customer documentation including general arrangement drawings, foundation plans, and valve plates. Apply relevant international and customer-specific design standards. Support design for manufacturing, including fabrication, surface treatment, and painting for extreme weather conditions. We don"™t need superheroes, just super minds.
