The Obsolescence management Engineer shall be able to Reverse engineer & identify Products, vendors based on specifications and performance requirements for various types installed components/equipments, analyse technical suitability, recommend most fit for purpose replacement. Experience in Creating material buying specification with reference to International Stds, bid comparison & deviation tables/ BOQs. The Engineer shall also support in Technical bid evaluation, Review QAP/ITP and test certificates for dispatch clearance and on receipt Inspect at site.
Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase based on BOQ/BOM.
