NOC and User support engineer

As a NOC and User Support Engineer at our Bengaluru location, you will be an integral part of the IT Command Center team. Your primary responsibility will involve monitoring internal system dashboards and promptly responding to network, application, and infrastructure alerts. You should excel in technical troubleshooting, be adept at facilitating bridge lines, and effectively engage resources to support workloads across both cloud and on-premises environments. Your key responsibilities will include resolving and escalating production/hosting-related issues, coordinating incident bridge lines, and monitoring dashboards, specifically Solarwinds, to ensure smooth operations. You will be expected to effectively manage tickets and support queues using ServiceNow, work with networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs, and possess a basic understanding of Linux and cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial for this role, as you will be required to interact with various stakeholders. Flexibility in working weekends and different shifts is essential to meet the operational demands effectively. From a technical standpoint, you should have a strong background in troubleshooting hybrid environments, proficiency in Linux, basic networking skills like pinging and router/firewall access, experience with Servicenow and Solarwinds, and the ability to provide support via email, phone, and bridge calls. Your participation in network troubleshooting, incident management, and familiarity with cloud platforms and IT operations tools will be key to success in this role.,
