Job Title: Technical Architect (Microservices & Domain-Driven Design)** *Location:* On-site Mumbai Timeline : Immediate or 15 days Notice period ### *Job Summary:* We are seeking an experienced *Technical Architect* with deep expertise in *Microservices Architecture* and *Domain-Driven Design (DDD)* to lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in *cloud-native applications, preferably on **Microsoft Azure*, and will play a key role in shaping our technical strategy, ensuring best practices in software design, and mentoring engineering teams. ### *Key Responsibilities:* Design and implement *microservices-based architectures* ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and performance. Apply *Domain-Driven Design (DDD)* principles to model complex business domains effectively. Lead the technical vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. Define and enforce *architecture standards, **design patterns, and **coding guidelines*. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions. Evaluate and recommend *Azure cloud services* (AKS, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, etc.) for optimal system design. Drive *continuous improvement* in architecture, performance, security, and cost optimization. Mentor and guide engineering teams on *clean code, **SOLID principles, and **event-driven architectures*. Conduct *architecture reviews, **technical spikes, and **proof-of-concepts (POCs)*. ### *Required Skills & Qualifications:* *12+ years* of software development experience with *5+ years* as a *Technical Lead* or *Technical Architect*. Strong hands-on experience in *Microservices Architecture* (design, decomposition, orchestration). Expertise in *Domain-Driven Design (DDD)* – Bounded Contexts, Aggregates, CQRS, Event Sourcing. Proficiency in Java. Experience with *containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)* and *cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)*. Knowledge of *API design (REST/gRPC), messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and distributed systems*. Familiarity with *CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)*. Strong understanding of *security, scalability, and observability* in cloud-native applications. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. ### *Nice-to-Have Skills:* *Microsoft Azure certifications* (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience with *serverless architectures* (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda). Knowledge of *frontend frameworks (React/Angular)* for full-stack perspectives.
