To analyze tender documents, perform quantity surveying, prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical submissions related to Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems , specifically for warehouse and industrial projects . The role ensures timely, competitive, and compliant bids for MEP packages. Key Responsibilities: Tender Study & Analysis: Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQ for the MEP scope. Conduct site visits (if required) to understand project scope and constraints. Identify technical and commercial risks associated with the project. Quantity Take-off & Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for all MEP services. Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates using market rates, vendor quotes, and internal databases. Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors to obtain quotations. Technical Submissions: Prepare and submit technical documentation including method statements, compliance sheets, equipment datasheets, and material proposals as per tender requirements. Value Engineering & Alternate Proposals: Provide value engineering options or alternate solutions to enhance competitiveness. Analyze technical benefits and cost savings. Coordination & Interface Management: Coordinate with architectural and civil teams to ensure proper service integration. Interface with consultants, vendors, and OEMs for technical and commercial clarifications. Tender Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all submissions comply with client specifications and standards as per the tender. Prepare bid clarification documents and participate in pre-bid or post-bid meetings. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of MEP systems (Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting) Expertise in tender documentation, estimation, and BOQ preparation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Good negotiation and vendor management skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel Familiarity with applicable standards (IS, NBC, NFPA, etc.) Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
