As a Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of overall experience, including 3 to 5 years in the medical device industry, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in CAD software such as Solid Edge & NX, along with proficiency in engineering calculations. Your role will involve a strong command over GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure precision in design. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be the ability to develop alternative mechanisms, concepts, and solutions, focusing on design for technical cost reductions. You will be expected to conduct theoretical calculations for the concepts generated, utilizing existing tools and standard methodologies to report and track product, project, and process metrics effectively. Experience in design control process, DHF documentation, and/or remediation for medical devices will be crucial for this role. Familiarity with EU MDD to MDR transition, Gap Analysis, Risk Management, and Analysis (including FMEA and failure analysis) will be advantageous. Knowledge of Polarion is preferred for this position. This is a full-time position that includes a yearly bonus.
