Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer, located in Pune. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as designing mechanical components and systems, creating detailed product designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the role involves using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to develop and modify designs, conducting design reviews, and ensuring that designs meet industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities Include:

- To design a product from concept to manufacturing -Consult with clients to determine requirements for designs

-Research the various ways a particular product might be used, and who will use it -Sketch ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provide a visual of design ideas

-Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs

-Create physical prototypes of their designs -Examine materials and manufacturing requirements to determine production costs

-Work with other specialists, such as electronic engineers and manufacturers, to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill needs at a reasonable cost

-Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical

-Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval Mandatory Technical Traits

* Should be familiar with various safety standards * Proficiency in CAD tools * Should be familiar with current industrial practices * Should be familiar with prototypes manufacturing process like 3D printing

Mandatory Skill set:

• Industrial Design, CAD , prototypes manufacturing like 3D Printing, etc. Knowledge about Safety Standards etc.
