Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for actively engaging with potential and existing clients through field visits, executing cold calls, securing orders, and serving as the primary link between customers and internal teams. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive business growth and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Sales & Cold Calling

- Visit target markets and prospective clients to identify and qualify new business opportunities.

- Conduct regular cold calls and in-person meetings to generate leads and convert them into orders.

- Present company products and solutions to clients, addressing queries and showcasing value propositions.

  • Order Acquisition & Processing

- Close deals and secure orders, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and flawless order processing and delivery.

  • Coordination with Production Team

- Liaise between clients and the production department to relay order requirements, special instructions, and timelines.

- Monitor production progress, keep clients informed on order status, and manage expectations regarding delivery schedules.

  • After-Sales Service

- Provide seamless after-sales support including addressing complaints, arranging replacements or returns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business.

  • Payment Collection

- Responsible for timely payment collection from clients as per agreed terms.

- Resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate with the accounts team to reconcile accounts when needed.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Proven field sales and cold calling experience

- Strong negotiation and closing skills

- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

- Sound organizational and coordination skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High level of integrity and accountability in payment collection and client management

Qualifications

- Good communication skills with the National, Local Languages and English

- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regularly
