Join our fast-paced NPD team to contribute to strategic sourcing and procurement of critical automotive electronic components. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Manager Sourcing (NPD Automotive Electronics) to manage electronics procurement during the New Product Development (NPD) cycle. The ideal candidate must bring proven experience in sourcing of semiconductors, connectors, PCBs, sensors, relays, and automotive-grade components, with a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing and supplier development. Key Responsibilities: Lead component sourcing for automotive electronics during NPD and prototype phases. Handle RFQ processes, vendor evaluation, cost negotiation, and supplier selection for: Semiconductors PCBs (Single/Multilayer) Connectors and Relays Sensors & Switches Automotive Electronic Modules Work closely with Engineering, R&D, and Program Management teams to ensure component availability as per development timelines. Coordinate with suppliers for PPAP, APQP, and initial sample approvals. Ensure BOM alignment, lead-time optimization, and cost control for electronics projects. Track and maintain procurement activities using ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / equivalent). Support localization and VAVE initiatives to improve cost and reduce dependency on imports. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10-15+years of experience in electronics sourcing/procurement, specifically in automotive electronics or related industries. Strong knowledge of electronic components and their application in automotive systems. Hands-on experience in sourcing semiconductors, PCBs, connectors, sensors, and relays. Familiarity with automotive quality systems (PPAP, APQP, IATF16949). Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel-based cost tracking tools. Excellent commercial negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
