Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Procurement to manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for our Cold Rolled Forming (CRF) factory operations. The role involves sourcing raw materials (especially steel coils), vendor negotiations, inventory control, and cost optimization to support production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals and CRF production needs. Source and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials like steel coils, equipment, and other consumables. Maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Manage procurement budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives. Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify cost and quality improvements. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety norms, and industry regulations. Draft and manage supplier contracts and agreements with favorable terms. Work closely with cross-functional teams: production, logistics, and finance. Utilize procurement/ERP systems to streamline purchasing operations and reporting. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration . 1015 years of procurement experience in manufacturing or steel industry (Minimum 67 years in core procurement). Strong knowledge of raw material sourcing , inventory planning, and vendor development. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and procurement software . Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Prior experience in Cold Rolled Forming (CRF) or Steel Procurement . Exposure to international sourcing and import/export regulations . Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) . Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
