Manager-Solar Installation and Commissioning

You are an experienced Construction Manager with a solid background in the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) sector. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the electrical aspects of solar power plant construction projects, ensuring that they meet quality, safety, and design specifications within the specified timelines. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and managing all electrical construction activities at solar PV project sites, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and civil teams for smooth execution, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols, reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation, monitoring subcontractors" work for adherence to timelines and quality standards, coordinating inspections and testing of electrical systems, resolving on-site issues, providing technical guidance to site teams, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring timely completion of electrical installations, and managing inventory and logistics of electrical components and materials on site. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred) along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical construction management, with at least 6 years specifically in the Solar PV sector. You should possess a strong knowledge of solar electrical systems including inverters, DC/AC cabling, SCADA, transformers, etc., familiarity with national and international electrical standards, proven experience in managing subcontractors and on-site teams, strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools, and willingness to travel and stay at remote project sites as needed. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management, PMP certification or equivalent project management training, and experience in utility-scale solar projects at the MW-level and substation interfacing.,
