Manager, Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Operations

As a Manager in Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Operations, you will lead a team of software engineers focused on site reliability for public cloud-based infrastructure migration. Your focus will be on quality, process improvement, automation, and engineering capabilities to deliver highly scalable, reliable, secure, and performant applications that meet customer expectations. Your role involves advancing operational effectiveness to enhance customer satisfaction and drive positive change within the organization. You are expected to be goal-oriented, independent, motivated, and result-driven, with a proven track record of success and leadership. In this position, you will act as an influencer, team mentor, and player, handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with integrity and pragmatism. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and retain a diverse, high-performing team that excels in technical skills and adapts to evolving technologies during the transition to cloud-based applications - Manage daily 24/7 operations, monitor operational metrics, and ensure quick resolution of issues - Utilize advanced system design knowledge to investigate and resolve incidents efficiently - Define application standards and best practices using coding expertise in JAVA, .NET, Node.js, Python, etc. - Lead technical design and planning to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality application delivery - Implement automation projects aligning with best practices and cloud operating models - Collaborate with vendors to augment workforce capacity as required - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive success across the software portfolio - Develop stakeholder relationships and ensure seamless processes for meeting SLAs and OLAs - Align with Product Management and Application Engineering on operational needs and product roadmap Requirements: - Hands-on DevOps experience in infrastructure building and enterprise software development lifecycle - Proficiency in Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Static Code Analysis, and Technical Debt Management - Minimum 5 years of relevant IT engineering or support experience with managerial experience - Practical experience with ITIL; familiarity with lean and agile methodologies - Availability on a 24x7x365 basis for production incidents and key customer events In summary, as a Manager in Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading a team towards cloud optimization, automation, and operational excellence to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications that exceed customer expectations.,
