Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Civil Quality Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic QC team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the developing & implementation of Quality Management systems, ensuring its adherence and improvements. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Civil & Interiors Quality, troubleshooting skills, and a passion for staying current with industry best practices.
Requirements & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance:
- Establish Quality Assurance plan at project site and Review, share comments and give approval for work methodologies, inspection and test plans, checklists, TDS submitted by vendors / contractors in consultation with CtrlS.
- Reviewing & sharing feedback on technical specifications & BOQ for new projects
- Reviewing & sharing feedback on drawings.
- Conducting assessment of new & existing vendors on quality parameters and sharing feedback to senior management and procurement
- Kick-off meeting with new on-boarded vendors to set quality expectations.
- Certifying work completion after closure of QC snags and tests.
Quality Control:
- Ensuring Civil & Interior works inspections at project site and checking Quality Control in all ongoing works.
- Ensure regular thorough inspections, to monitor the correct filling of checklists and effectiveness of Quality checking and supervision by the contractor s site team. Inspection shall be done as per drawings, technical specifications and purchase order as provided by CtrlS.
- Ensuring daily checks on materials brought by vendors and CtrlS. handling, storage and protection at site and approve Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
- Ensuring inspection of pre, during and post activity checks for maintaining best workmanship standards and approve checklist / Site Inspection Requests (SIRs).
- Review, comment and approve work mock-ups and do sample approvals from quality perspective.
- Witnessing and approval of soil, materials testing, concrete mix trials, designs and concrete batch sheets.
- Witnessing of on-site and external laboratory QC testing to be done as per contractor agreed Inspection and test plan and CtrlS direction.
- Factory inspections and preparing reports as per CtrlS QC requirements.
- Ensuring that Daily observations & non Conformance report (NC report) should be shared with CtrlS project head and management with photos
- Frequent checks on calibration of measuring and testing devices used by CtrlS and vendors.
- Pre-customer handover snagging and tracking of closure should be carried out as applicable. Report of same shall be updated and shared in excel.
- Conducting on-site trainings and tool box meetings on technical topics and work methodologies for vendor s staff and workers.
- Carry out analysis of snags and NCs basis probable root cause identified after discussion of site and present same in weekly / monthly reports.
Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of QAP, work methodologies, checklist and ITPs.
- All records as per MIR, SIR, NCs, observations and snags- Issue and closure along with evidences.
- Weekly and monthly quality reports as per management formats.
Education & Experience Credentials:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology, or a related field/ Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology.
- 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Quality Management of commercial / industrial construction works. Minimum 15 yrs. experience required for a Diploma holder.
Certifications:
- Desirable: Microsoft office, Quality Management, Six Sigma Green Belt, Statistical QC, Auto-CAD, CDCP - Certified data center professional (not mandatory)
