CtrlS DataCenter is looking for Shift Manager 1 to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations and leading a team during a specific shift. They will ensure efficient and smooth operations, uphold quality standards, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. The Shift Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a positive work environment and achieving business objectives. Key Responsibilities : Manage and supervise daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, ensuring proper staffing and smooth workflow. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills, productivity, and customer service abilities. Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints, addressing concerns, and ensuring excellent service delivery. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and placing orders as necessary. Monitor operational performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and take corrective actions to achieve operational targets. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and foster a collaborative work environment. Handle cash management responsibilities, including cash handling, cash register reconciliation, and deposit preparation. Collaborate with other Shift Managers and senior management to implement process improvements, share best practices, and achieve overall business objectives. Qualifications and Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree or relevant certifications in management or hospitality is a plus. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the retail, hospitality, or food service industry. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers. Exceptional customer service mindset with a focus on delivering a positive experience to customers. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast - paced environment. Strong problem - solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions and resolve issues effectively. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance. Basic understanding of inventory management and cash handling procedures. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for basic record keeping and reporting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure. Commitment to creating a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee development.
