Set up CNC turning machines, install tools, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring precision and efficiency. Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure peak operational performance. Collaborate with design and production teams to address manufacturability challenges and ensure product quality. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Preferred candidate profile Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, specifically for turning applications. Proficiency in Siemens CNC programming and operation. Strong knowledge of cutting tool selection, feed rates, and surface finishes for turning operations. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Expertise in quality control and inspection techniques for turned components.
