Legal Head

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drafting all civil Petitions, Vakalat, Written Statements, Applications, Complaints, Affidavits, Legal notice, and other various legal instruments.
• Vetting and Drafting agreements like consortium, Joint Ventures, Non-Disclosure agreements, Integrity Pact agreements, MOUs, Charter Hiring Agreements, Construction, Service, Procurement and Installations etc
• Conducting Research work on the legal issues involved in the various cases by referring Latest judgments, citations and preparing for Cases.
• Handling legal formalities relevant to construction / real estate / developer industry.
• Preparation of Legal Manual, legal Documentation, final legal opinion, Title Investigation and legal scrutiny of the property documents, Revenue documents and assisting in registration process.
• Interacting with all labor departments in case required.
• Liaison with relevant Government authorities, judicial departments/authorities etc.
• Appear before Land registration authorities towards facilitating registration of documents.
• Vetting all financial documents related to the company
• Pre-verification of title and coordination with Government authorities and preparing Legal Scrutiny Report prior to purchase of immovable assets.
• Having good knowledge of cases under NI act, civil & criminal law, particularly complaints u / s 138, and corporate law. Ability to draft Complaint /Petitions etc.
• Drafting letters, replies, maintenance of court cases, etc., pertaining to their region.
• Negotiating and handling the legal compliance with the clients/customers.
• Handling and co-ordinating all communications with Panel Advocate office.  Visiting their offices as and when required during evening hours.
• Preparation of legal notices, caveats and applications in co-ordination with the outside counsel, ensure their dispatch and maintenance of records for them.
• Ensure proper handling and safety of original Documents.
• Attending court to assist advocates and solicitors with the presentation of cases.
• Handling cases falling in the jurisdiction of Civil Court, High Court, Consumer Courts, Arbitration, Appellate Tribunal, Administrative Tribunals and attending on behalf of company
• Preparing Plaints, Written statements, Interim Applications, objections, affidavits, written arguments and all types of deeds pertaining to conveyance. 
• Conducting Legal Due-Diligence / local laws for the properties to be acquired by the Company.
• Handling litigations & non litigation regarding property matters.
• Drafting of police compliant letter and submitting same to the police station.
• Negotiating with domestic and overseas contractors to finalize the contracts
• Complying to Statutory and Regulatory requirements
• Dealing with RERA, property related matters and Intellectual property matters
• Engaging in Contract negotiation, Vetting and drafting of all types of pleadings, counter statements, agreements relating to commercial contracts, finance etc.
• Reviewing tenders, contracts and handling the issues related to Tenders floated and Quoted
• Providing due Diligence, legal opinons in all the service maters, judgements of the different courts with regard to Appeal, issuing legal notices on behalf of company
• Providing legal opinions regarding labour, Consumer, Commercial, Legal risk involved in matters etc. to internal Departments and Top Management
• Representing before Quasi-Judicial authorities on behalf of company
• Must know Kannada (Read, write, & speak) Mandatory.
