Job Description

As the Lean Manager at our jewelry manufacturing unit, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of lean transformation initiatives across all departments. From diamond sourcing and cutting to final jewelry assembly and polishing, your primary focus will be on enhancing productivity, minimizing waste, improving quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will utilize Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to drive these initiatives forward. Our company is known as one of the world's largest and fastest-growing diamond jewelry manufacturers, exporting luxurious and finely crafted jewelry to prestigious retailers and brands in the USA, Europe, and the UK. We take pride in delivering excellence through high-quality craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a Lean roadmap aligned with business goals, leading Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions to identify improvement opportunities, establishing standard work practices, 5S, visual management, and workplace organization across departments. You will also lead cross-functional Kaizen projects in critical areas, utilize PDCA, DMAIC, and Root Cause Analysis to drive process improvements, optimize layouts, reduce cycle times, and balance takt times. In addition, you will be responsible for building Lean capabilities within teams through training, promoting Lean thinking, embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI), and monitoring key Lean performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rates, lead time reduction, and labor productivity. Collaboration with various teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and HR will be essential to ensure alignment on improvement initiatives and support new product development processes. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, with Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred. You should possess 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years of hands-on Lean implementation experience. Strong expertise in Lean tools, data-driven analytical skills, exceptional communication, and facilitation abilities are also required. In return, we offer you a leadership opportunity to lead transformative initiatives in the jewelry industry, a collaborative environment working alongside senior leadership and cross-functional teams, competitive compensation, and ongoing professional growth opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of digital transformation.,
