Lead QA/QC Engineer

As the Civil Quality Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the Quality Lead in overseeing all civil quality aspects of Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. You will be tasked with reviewing method statements, material submittals, and vendor documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant IS/IEC standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with design and engineering teams for timely approvals and prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) along with field quality checklists and necessary quality documentation formats. Monitoring and supporting QA/QC activities related to civil works at substations and transmission lines will be a key part of your role. You will guide site teams in implementing quality control procedures and industry best practices, and conduct periodic visits to project sites to verify 100% compliance with approved Field Quality Plans (FQPs). Supporting site quality staff in executing civil works as per the Field Operating Procedures (FOP) for all ongoing T&D projects will also be essential. Furthermore, you will review and confirm site quality records in alignment with project specifications, as well as ensure that site testing reports related to civil and mechanical activities adhere to standards and specifications. It will be your duty to guarantee that construction activities meet all applicable safety and quality requirements, and to prepare and maintain quality reports, non-conformance records (NCRs), and follow-up action plans. In addition, you will support internal and external audits and contribute to root cause analysis of quality issues. Ensuring consistency in quality management processes across projects and vendor locations will be crucial. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires in-person work. Prior experience in Transmission & Distribution Projects and a certain number of years of relevant experience will be considered during the application process.,
